Good morning!!!
It's a beautiful day in sunny south fl! :-) I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. Anyways, I was watching CNN this morning and my favorite physician, Dr. Benjamin Carson, was speaking on The Lou Dobbs show. He was saying how in America we lack primary care specialists; this is due to the amount of debt one has to pay after they get out of med school. This raises a good point b/c I often face the dilemma of whether to stay here in the states and study medicine or go study elsewhere for that very fact. With that being said, Dr. Carson suggested that the U.S. should provide free medical school to help would-be doctors avoid debt.
Personally, I think it's a GREAT idea but the way things are going on in America I doubt it will occur. All in all, where I'm going to study medicine remains a mystery at the moment. It's going to be a difficult choice I'm going to have to make but G-d is good all the time and all the time he is good. I have faith that he will guide me in the right path. Therefore, I put my confidence in him and when the time arises when I have to make that decision I know that he will aid me in making the right one. With that being said, what are your thoughts? Do you believe that America should offer free medical school? Feel free to share your thoughts and/or leave any comments you may have. I'd love to hear from you. Have a wonderful day! Take care. Peace, Love, and God Bless. This is 'thedoc' and I'm signing out. 1.
thats interesting,
ReplyDeletefree for everyone?
or making more grants and things like that actually attainable.
i think if they can find a good system to do it thats fine, but doctors make a ton of money out of school to pay off the debt anyway.. idk, college is so expensive in general, i think that there has to be a way for it to be cheaper for everyone.
