Be Innovative...Build A Bridge!!!

Bridge Pictures, Images and Photos

A bridge is a structure built to span a valley, road, body of water, or other physical obstacle, for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle. They allow people or vehicles to cross from one side to another.

Bridges must be built strong enough to safely support their own wight as well as the weight of the people and vehicles that pass over it. The bridge must also withstand natural occurrences that include weathering, earthquakes, strong winds, and freezing and thawing.

With that being said, we can conclude that a bridge has several uses. Researchers have been working on an idea that will add to that long list of uses. Any ideas on what it may be? Anyone...please don't be shy. Perhaps the gentleman w/ the Charlie Brown sweater would like to give it a try. I said: "Wawawawawa" lmao j/k dude I love Peanuts! Anyways, researchers plan on creating a network that connects emerging vaccine manufacturers w/ researchers developing vaccines for infectious diseases like HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis. The goal of this network is to make new vaccines readily available in the developing world faster. Why is this important you may ask? Well, few of the firms focused on developing vaccines for infectious diseases have established partnerships w/ vaccine manufacturers in developing countries, where many of these diseases are prevalent. Therefore, if we continue to make these networks readily available then the more people we can save as a result.

All in all, I believe this idea is a win-win for everyone. The researchers get what they want and the people will benefit from it as well. I look forward to reading more about this project in the upcoming future. And you? What are your thoughts? Do you think it's a good idea? Feel free to share your thoughts and/or leave any comments you may have. I'd love to hear from you. Anyways, I hope everyone's having a great day and I'll ttyl. Take care. Peace, Love, and God Bless. This is 'thedoc' and I'm signing out. 1.
